Best Paper Award
For 2015 only, applications for the Best Paper Award will be accepted from all graduate students enrolled at an accredited Arizona institution of higher education. Prior recipients are ineligible for reconsideration.
Award recipients are expected to present their work at the subsequent AERA annual conference as an exemplar study from Arizona.

What to Submit

Submissions can focus on any educational topic, with education broadly defined (early childhood through adult education, various content areas, methodologies, etc.). Submissions should be in PDF format and must not exceed 15 pages of narrative (references, tables, etc. may be included in up to five pages of appendices).

Submissions are due by December 30, 2015 at 5:00 pm AZ time.

Review Process
|
Papers submitted for consideration will be reviewed by a panel of AERO members. Papers will be rated based upon: significance of the topic; purpose of the work; quality of the literature, data collection, results/reporting, and analysis; impact of the study; and adherence to APA formatting.

Award Details

Award recipients will be scheduled to present their work at a Distinguished Papers Session, sponsored by the Consortium of State and Regional Research Associations (SRERA) as part of the AERA 2016 Annual Meeting, April 8-12, 2016 in Washington, D.C. Partial funding will be provided to support attendance.
